Life is a little slow out here in the Hill Country of Central Texas. We brake for roadrunners and take joy in the sunsets. We like the heat and don’t miss snow. We watch the deer graze right outside our windows and the cottontails play among the trees. There’s not a lot more to do out here. But that’s the way we like it. It’s peaceful. It’s quiet. It’s far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. No traffic... no sirens... no noise. The only things you will hear are the songs of the local birds, the breeze through the trees, the trickle of a waterfall, and the occasional snort of the deer when they finally notice you watching them. Sip your coffee and look out across the Pecan Valley of central Texas and understand why we love it here so much and why we want to share it. Come and be a member of our family for a night or a whole weekend. Kick back and relax in the Great Room and enjoy popcorn and a movie in digital surround sound. Savor fresh baked breads and rolls, homemade jams and jellies, and decadent desserts hand-made at the Ranch daily by Mama Wolf. Enjoy a family-style country breakfast — fresh, hot and made to order. All guests are invited to enjoy the custom-built pool. Soak in the beautiful central Texas vistas, float in the crystal blue water, or be soothed by the sounds of the trickling waterfall. A corral is available for our equine guests Bikers and equestrians alike will enjoy the miles and miles of lightly traveled country roads to explore out here in the Lampasas River valley. If you prefer to travel by foot, there’s 13 wooded acres to explore, or just pick a spot and watch the sun set or enjoy the recreation room or the deck. Guests can also choose from nearly 400 titles in our eclectic video library. All guest packages include a full country-style or formal breakfast in the Main House, daily maid service, in-room coffee maker with complimentary coffee and souvenir mugs, complimentary toiletries, and a loaf of fresh baked bread.
